Sr. Database Engineer

This opening is located in Austin, TX



 Key Duties: 



 Management of customer database for Marketing & Sales departments: • Develop strategies for effective entry of new leads, removal of invalid leads and accuracy of customer contact information • Query database for qualified leads for direct marketing campaigns • Perform basic database manipulation/programming • Export and import files as needed for campaigns (direct mail and e-mail) • Implement and closely monitor activities to maintain a very high level of database hygiene • Apply knowledge of leading edge/best practices in managing customer database • Data Analysis • Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Marketing Programs and others • Responsible for database maintenance, upkeep, backup and any related programming



 



Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:



• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 - 6 years related experience; or 6 - 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Needs to be NCSE certified with heavy SQL knowledge
