Sr Desktop Support
IMMEDIATE NEED for a Very talented Mid level to Senior Desktop person to support a very large Enterprise environment in the West Los Angeles area. This job rotates between Helpdesk and Deskside and hours may vary from 6am to 6pm dependant on the shift. This is an extremely CUSTOMER SERVICE sensitive position so must have thick skin and work well under pressure and deadlines. Environment consists of CITRIX, Win 2k and XP,Office and Outlook. Must have a great background with troublshooting connectivity issues, Active Directory and GPO'sAll applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada.
Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS **Quick learner with ability to follow complex instructions as directed by management. **Ability to communicate technical ideas verbally and in written form to customers. **Excellent customer service skills and attitude. **Excellent PC software/hardware troubleshooting skills. *Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft client computing technologies including Office, Outlook, and Windows XP/2000. **Basic understanding of Microsoft Networking/server technologies (Active Directory, WAN/LAN, Switches/Routers). ******Giant plus is great knowledge of Citrix, installing and deinstalling******** QUALIFICAIONS • 5 or more years experience providing Deskside support services in a large enterprise environment ** MCP, MCSE, CCNA, and A+ certifications are a plus. **Altiris experience a plus. **OEM hardware certifications are a plus. **Macintosh and Linux proficiency is a plus. ****CITRIX install and deinstall***********
