Sr Enterprise Data Architect

DESCRIPTION The Judge Group is looking for a Sr. Enterprise Data Architect to work for a Fortune 100 client in Hartford, CT. This person has to work on-site in Connecticut, relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate. This is a full time position, so only permanent residents of the U.S. who do not require sponsorship are eligible.

Reports to the Sr. Director Enterprise Data Architecture

Responsible for evolving and stewarding the enterprise data architecture vision, strategy, principles and standards; get
buy-in from stake-holders, management, business partners, and propagate throughout the company.


STANDARDS/PROCESSES/TOOLS

Develop enterprise data management methodology and standards, and promote to both technology and business
throughout the company. Over time, create appropriate standards, processes and tools to promote and facilitate:


Mapping of data sources

Profiling of data

Documenting interfaces and data movement

Designing the movement of data through the enterprise

Defining integrative views of data especially for analytic purposes

Focus on data quality

Governance participation around data formulation to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, validity, and reusability of data.
Participate in developing consistent definitions for common reference data.
Establish measures to chart progress related to completeness and quality of identified enterprise information, to support
reduction of data redundancy and fragmentation, elimination of unnecessary movement of data, and improvement of data
