Argosy has an information technology development team requirement for a Software Tester on an exciting, nationally scoped, healthcare information technology initiative. These individuals must have at least 5-7 years of full-time software testing expertise plus a bachelor degree. This experience must include the software testing of Internet-enabled, enterprise wide, information technology systems.
TasksThe Sr. Software Tester will participate in Test Planning activities and develops the test design with direction from the Test Lead or Test Manager. The Sr. Software Tester evaluates the business requirements for testability and maps test cases back to the business requirements. The Sr. Software Tester develops the test scenarios/test cases and executes the tests. Sr. Software Tester uses test tools for managing testware and test activities. Apply testing methodology Develop test cases and scenarios Specify test data requirements Create testing coverage matrix Execute test cases and scenarios Perform defect tracking Apply knowledge of hardware/software products Position Qualifications Required: Computer Science, Math, Engineering or Information Systems/Technology Interpret User's Requirements Interpret Use Cases and Design Use Case Write test cases/test scenarios Develop test Plan Execute test scenarios Work with a variety of teams Document test defects Strong technical design with excellent communication skills. Must be able to start IMMEDIATELY.
