Located at our Corporate offices in Milwaukee, Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for an individual to be responsible for the administration of the human resources information system (HRIS) for the HR modules.  Will interface with business groups, IT & functional depts in order to plan and prepare system changes.  Utilizes system to collect, organize and display data in support of organizational needs.Leads HR PeopleSoft team by assessing and assigning user security for the system as it relates to business needs, maintaining system tables/trees, performing mass transactions, providing feedback to update online help, testing system environment, and providing customer support for field HR and shared services.

 

Individual will also conduct high-level needs analysis and defines associated business requirements specifications and enhancements to HRIS or implementation of new HRIS modules.  Completes HR user acceptance testing, and upgrade testing following project plan.  Coordinates audits with Groups and shared services on HR standards, business processes and data integrity.  Performs training review and input related to system operations, and ensure accurate documentation and training for HR Analyst and shared services.  Develops and maintains reports for government compliance.  Designs and generates special request reports and maintains group standardized reports. Troubleshoots problems and interfaces with Systems department to resolve problems and implement changes to meet HR needs.  Support HR PeopleSoft implementations globally.Seeks new technology solutions within HRIS.



We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelors degree in Business, computer information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of five years of human resources experience in computerized environment.  PeopleSoft experience, including Crystal report writing is required.  Advanced computer knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases.  Strong ability to communicate effectively and develop strong working relationships.  Demonstrates a quality focus in providing customer-driven services and solutions.  Strong analytical aptitude with project management skills of small to medium scope preferred
