Sr. I/T Project Manager (PMO)

Job Description:


FormFactor is a growing, industry leader in the design, development, manufacture, sale and support of precision, high performance advanced semiconductor wafer probe cards. FormFactor was founded in 1993 and in 1995, established its headquarters, as well as its R&D and manufacturing operations, in Livermore, California. FormFactor introduced its first wafer probe card based on MicroSpring interconnect technology in 1995, and now is the leading supplier of advanced wafer probe cards, based on revenues. In June 2003, FormFactor completed its initial public offering of stock and is traded on Nasdaq National Market under the symbol FORM.  We are currently seeking talented candidates for the following position.

- Manage all aspects of complex I/T projects or programs (groups of projects) in order to deliver approved business functionality and/or results to the company. Partner with cross-functional teams to define and obtain agreement on scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks and budget when managing a project.
- Manage various key I/T projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including detailed project schedules, task lists, change requests, issues management, risk management, quality management, and status reporting. Track the execution of project tasks and internal resources to ensure commitments and deliverables are met.
- Establish and instill a standard of excellence in all projects. Develop and improve PMO processes, tools, techniques and policies to be used across the company for portfolio and project management. Develop and provide project management training and direction. Manage the content and publication of project-related information on the Project Portal web site.
- Prepare and publish project status and KPI metrics reports. Conduct and publish project assessment and customer satisfaction surveys.

Job Requirements:


- 8-10 years I/T project and program management experience involving the development and implementation of cross-functional business programs. Proven track record of managing and motivating dynamic teams with varying degrees of expertise.
- 5+ yrs experience working with Oracle 11i ERP modules as well as project management experience on major Oracle 11i ERP implementation projects. Working knowledge of Oracle 11i Manufacturing modules (BOM, MRP, Inventory, Purchasing), Finance and Human Resources preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and negotiate through conflict. Independent, service-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to exercise independent judgment and work effectively in a team environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- B/A or B/S degree required with MBA preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
