Sr. IT Operations Analyst

Responsibilities:
* The incumbent will perform complex duties for monitoring and controlling of computer systems, network and job scheduling and processing, identifying and taking corrective action for complex problems.

* Performing day-to-day operations of data center computer equipment, including tape mounts.

* Performing system backups file restoration and required offsite rotation of backup data.

* Performing problem determination and correction actions in the operation of computer systems/servers and networks.

* Monitoring the Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) and identifying and initiating corrective actions for all alerts.

* Assisting with production job turnover, job scheduling and job-processing monitoring.


Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in math, computer science or equivalent technical training with 2 to 5 years experience in an information technology related position.

* Knowledge of data center operations tasks and responsibilities.

* Ability to identify and correct highly complex problems.

* Knowledge of tape handling procedures and knowledge of job scheduling software.

* Experience with Control M scheduling software and AS400 plaform is preferred.
