SR IVR DEVELOPER

ITS, Inc., SHAZAM, a leading regional electronic funds transfer system is actively seeking a talented and experienced Sr. IVR Developer to provide development support of IVR technology and integration at our Johnston office.  If you are looking for a fast-paced environment with rewards commensurate with your experience & contributions, we would like to hear from you.

 ACTIVITIES

?  Create and design IVR applications.  Strong focus on database performance utilizing the following: DB2 UDB, NonStop Server, Sun Solaris, and Windows 2000

?  Perform IVR administration maintenance functions.

?  Monitor and enhance IVR performance

?  SQL code support to developers and business users

?  Assist and support IVR inbound and outbound applications

?  General IVR programming support

?  Resolve day to day systems/development /operating environment problems

?  Recognize and resolve problems in requisite technologies

?  Use iterative standard project management methodologies, design, code, test, and implement programs.

?  Research new IVR features and apply as needed to achieve company wide benefits

?  Perform quality assurance reviews and test prior to production changes

 

First 6 Months Goals:

?  Review and recommend an IVR product and associated development kits

?  Implement approved recommendations

?  Create graphical representation of IVR performance on hourly basis

?  Review IVR size and identify capacity for the next twelve months

?  Create and utilize new and existing change control process for all production IVR enhancements

 

First 7 to 18 months Goals:

?  Identify and recommend needed technology to maintain acceptable performance

?  Continued development of new projects as identified

?  Identify long term strategies for optimizing, scaling and maintaining the IVR system.

?  Identify standards and architecture for future phases of development

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

?  Minimum 5 years of IVR development experience. DB2 UDB database administration experience, a plus.

?  Excellent problem solving, analysis, communication, and customer service skills.

?  Proven sound decision making skills.

?  Strong team player.

?  Bachelor's degree in technically related field or equivalent work experience.
