Senior Internet Developer

Department: Information Technology

Location: Corporate Headquarters, Provo, Utah

Hours:8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

General Summary:

Performs the following types of duties under general direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives for assigned functional areas of the Internet/Intranet; devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results; prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written; designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs; competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of Internet/Intranet systems analysis and programming activities; may be responsible for completion of a phase of a large project; regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced Internet developers; performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge: Comprehensive Internet/Intranet programming knowledge and good general business knowledge.

Skills required: ASP, ASP.NET 2.0, C#, ADO.NET 2.0HTML/Javascript/CSSSQL Server 2000/2005 (queries, stored procedures, etc.)XML/Web ServicesVisual Studio 2003/2005Microsoft IISWeb forms/web controls

Ability:  Competent to work on the most complex projects independently; regularly able to work under deadlines and heavy workloads.

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 6+ years of experience focusing on web development.
