Our U.S. Generics Division is currently searching for a Sr. Manager, IT Applications, to work in Cranford, New Jersey, who will, work with professionals at all levels to leverage information technology to meet corporate objectives, increase revenues and reduce costs.   

 

Responsibilities

-Manages large, complex projects with aggressive goals and time-lines using formal processes.

-Will manage concurrent projects in additional to operational responsibilities.

-Key contributor to the development and implementation of strategic IT plans as well and corresponding budgets.

-Employs IT solutions in accordance with good quality assurance practices, including GxP, -Sarbanes-Oxley as well as corporate policy and procedures.

-Works with staff to develop annual performance goals, provide on-going feedback, and construct development plans. 

-Collaborates and negotiates with business contacts, software vendors, consulting agencies, outside auditors, and others as needed.

 

Requirements

-Requires a proven track record with extensive IT management and business experience. 

-Requires a hands-on manager who can work in a fast-paced environment to deliver value in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines. 

-Bachelor?s Degree in Business, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.  Master?s Degree or MBA is a plus.

-Requires a minimum of 8 years experience in an Information Technology department or working with information systems.  A minimum of 3 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is highly desired.

-3 years of experience in a management role, including people management.

-Requires strong project management skills. 

-Experience managing vendors, consultants and budgets is required.

-Must have experience delivering within a compliance-oriented environment, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Sarbanes Oxley Act, etc.

-Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and projects.

-Requires knowledge of financial and accounting systems as well as sales & marketing. 

-Familiarity with supply chain, pharmaceutical contracts, pricing, chargebacks and rebates are strong pluses.

-Experience with MFG/Pro and CARS is an asset.

-Understands business-to-business communication, such as EDI and evolving technologies (e.g., electronic filing, AS2, UCCNet, etc.)

-Business Intelligence experience is a plus.

-Strong verbal and written communications is essential.

-Approximately 10% travel required.
