The Senior Manager of Program Assessment Services at Kaiser Permanente designs and chairs the Prioritization Council; develops/provides leadership for a team of highly skilled architects and program managers; and ensures that Portfolio Architecture/Early Engagement deliverables are complete and consistent across programs.

As a Senior Manager of Program Assessment Services you will work in partnership with APO to ensure Global Problem Records are addressed with sufficiency; enhance the Demand Management function and ensure that information is captured consistently, completely and correctly; and provide Executive Project Status reporting tools, process and Engagement Services level reporting.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor?s degree; 15 years of experience leading complex programs with large infrastructure components; 20 years of technical leadership experience; and experience leading geographically-dispersed teams. You also need design/architecture experience on large-scale, mid-range systems; program management expertise in large, complex environments; a documented history of on-time, on-budget delivery; and a proven track record of fiscal responsibility for budgets above $35 million.

Preferred qualifications include an MBA or MA in Information Systems Management; a consulting background in leading large-scale programs greater than $50 million; and 20+ years of experience serving as a liaison between business and technology. Additional preferred qualifications include 15 years of application/technical architecture experience with complex N-tiered infrastructures; 15 years of program management expertise with Fortune 50 companies; and a proven track record of implementing and actively managing fundamental Program Management frameworks.

Our infrastructure consists of 6,000-plus servers in numerous platforms running over 2,500 applications servicing more than 130,000 users located in more than 400 medical offices, hospitals and administrative facilities. We make about 2,300 changes a month to our applications, systems and networks, so meeting commitments is a big piece of the challenge. And with so many disparate applications, platforms and code differentials, were always striving to reduce the complexity of our environment through systems management and automation.
