* Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity
* Enhance and develop quality support methods and communication skills through coaching feedback and other developmental approaches
* Assist in the resolution of user and support issues among company sites to ensure timely distribution of knowledge and positive impact on user satisfaction
* Research, resolve and respond to questions received via telephone calls, letters and call backs in a timely manner, in accordance with standards
* Escalate problems to appropriate individual based on established guidelines and procedures
* Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to customers
* Develop business and technical writing skills

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, other technical discipline or equivalent experience
2 - 4 years of experience in computer systems or IT support
* Experience in multi-platform environments

* Ability to maintain a high level of client trust and confidence in the group's knowledge of and concern for clients' needs
* Basic understanding of one or more of the following:
* Telecommuncations: PBX, voice mail and peripheral devices
* Desktop: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Window NT, Windows 95/98, Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, VPN
* Network: Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP
