Sr. Net/ASP Developer -Business Systems Analyst (AMSEC)

Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing moderately complex business systems.

Maintains installed applications software and devises, modifies business programs from detailed specifications. Works directly with customer and advises on moderately complex system operation and function. Troubleshoots problems, develops programs and end-user applications. Extensive experience needed to accomplish tasking and objectives. Systems may include SAP, Logistic, Engineering and Financial Business Systems.

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the generic systems analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.

Education & Skills
Position requires comprehensive knowledge to resolve complex problems and provide solutions. Full knowledge of industry practices. Ability to lead and train others. Ability to communicate technical information in an understanding manner.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field + 8 years of hands-on experience in specialty field.

Position Specific Skills
Will be responsible for the automation efforts of the Financial Services Department (FSD). Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of various automation efforts cutting across procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, material management, receiving, contract closeout and subcontracting. Position Specific Knowledge Experience/Skills: MUST have solid experience with the following: ? Microsoft ASP.net (VB.Net) / ASP 2.0 ? HTML, XML, SOAP, Web services, CGI ? SQL Server ? Oracle 9i; proficient with PLSQL and SQL on MS SQL Server platforms ? Javascript ? Visio ? Microsoft Office products with particular emphasis on spreadsheets The successful candidate must have prior experience integrating custom applications with a legacy ERP system such as Deltek Costpoint; must have prior experience with legacy custom applications developed in ASP.Net (VB.Net); must have strong analytical skills and well-developed database skills; must have a thorough understanding of ERDs; must be able to collect, compile and assemble requirements into a software requirements specification; must be a reliable self-starter, and team player able to coordinate efforts across multiple departments; must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Desired skills include: an understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley; an understanding of the basic procurement cycle; experience with data mining and data warehousing; training or certification with CMMI.
