Sr .Net Developer....ready for a management role?

Our client is a small (30 employee) highly regarded professional association located in South Charlotte. As Manager of IS for this company, you would wear many hats. The primary responsibility would be hands-on .Net web development using ASP.Net, C#, and SQL Server. In addition, you would manage the IT Infrastructure. Although this function is outsourced, you would be responsible for the strategic planning of the infrastructure and managing the outsource vendors. You would hire additional resources for larger development projects and would be responsible for managing those resources. The salary is competitive with excellent benefits. The working hours are not as demanding as many IT jobs. It will be a 40 hour work week most of the time. You would travel two weeks out of the year to attend trade shows. Training is available as needed.

 

Requirements: We are looking for a .Net Developer who is well versed in full life cycle development. Any prior experience with ColdFusion would be a plus. ColdFusion exists in the environment, but is being phased out. Prior management experience is not required, but our client will want evidence that you have been in a leadership or project management role and are ready for management as the next step in your career. We are not requiring experience in IT Infrastructure, but if you have prior experience in a network administration or engineering role, that would be a plus.
