Daily Work Description

This position will be responsible for the maintenance and stability of several Oracle 9 and 10 databases and 10g RAC clusters as the back-end to various J2EE web enabled and Oracle CRM applications and systems running in a Solaris/Unix environment.  As an experienced DBA lead this position will involved the mentoring of more junior associates, along with thought leadership and technical expertise

 

Skill & Experience Requirements  B.A./B.S. or equivalent 10 Years of experience to include most of the following; Oracle 9 or 10 DBA support (10i preferred)Oracle Internet Directory (OID)Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO)Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)Oracle Database 9iOracle Database 10gOracle Application Server 9iR1Oracle Application Server 9iR2Oracle Application Server 10gOracle PortalOracle DiscovererHigh Availability ArchitectureOracle E-Business SuiteSQL/PLSQL Oracle Financials, Install/Support  Oracle 8/9 Server (use/perform)   OEM Performance Tuning UNIX Shell Scripting preferred, Perl acceptable Experience with Quest tools preferred. Must have a secret clearance and able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Clearance
