Sr. Oracle Developer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position plays a key role in the development and support of various web based applications. It requires a person capable of setting direction and following through implementation of a corporate data strategy.  The candidate will be responsible to: 1) Design, develop and implement programming changed to existing web-based forms., reports, and stored procedures. 2) Review existing applications and determine the impact of new requirements and programming changes. 3) Design, develop and implement new program modules currently using Oracle technologies. 4) Design, develop and maintain code libraries required for web-based Forms and Reports deployment.  5) Create and execute test plans and procedures to ensure program code adheres to stated business requirements. 6) Research new technology to develop prototypes for future integration efforts.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Strong Oracle Reports / Developer (PLSQL) skills a must (at least 4 years experience). Knowledge of Oracle forms, JavaScript, Web App development and Oracle 10g ASExperience in the following is a plus: Shell Scripting, Perl 2) Oracle Designer/ Oracle RAC and other Oracle tools.Data Warehousing
