Sr./Principal Business Process Analyst

Job Description: As a Senior Business Process Analyst / Principal Business Process Analyst, depending on experience and qualifications, you will support R&D through the Global Systems support structure. Main area of responsibility is the installation and administration of Software Development Tools (principally Rational Tool Suite) including support of new functionality and enhancements, development and delivery of training, oversight of daily operations and support of user community. Overall objective is to provide global solutions to meet the business requirements of Boston Scientific.

Key responsibilities include providing analysis and facilitation in the area of R&D Business Processes, partnering with the Application Run Team, working with R&D GSP management, business leaders and users to identify, initiate and prioritize improvement programs and enhancements. You will be working with site business leaders, management and users to identify, diagnose and solve process and system issues as well as identify areas for process improvement and establish effective and efficient business practices. In addition, you will work with department colleagues to deliver global solutions that are integrated, accommodate all related activities, and do not negatively impact other functional areas and while partnering with R&D business stakeholders, assist in the development and facilitation of the R&D Business Processes education and training program including the development of materials and delivery of education at internal ?user? groups and forums, and lead future rollouts of new and existing business applications to the finance community. This role will provide ongoing assistance and communication working through the local business function leaders.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree. The qualified candidate will have system implementation project experience, experience including specific process knowledge. Knowledge of related business applications (Rational Tool Suite, ReqPro, ClearCase, ClearQuest). Experience with a global architecture for these tools that supports geographically dispersed users is a plus. The qualified candidate will be a self starter with strong communications skills and a proactive work ethic. Travel required is 10-25%.
