DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Programmer is responsible for developing web front-end software for
complex business critical systems as part of the A2M2 (Anytime Anywhere Media
Measurement) initiative at Nielsen Media Research. In this position, the
candidate will design user interfaces, construct the software for the user
interfaces, test and install the software. The developer will also be
responsible for using source management tools. The developer will work in a
team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Skills Required:
? BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work
experience
? Minimum 6 years IT experience with 4 years of practical experience using web
front end development tools.
? Extensive, practical experience with building and maintaining web graphical
user interfaces
? 3 to 4 years experience HTML, DHTML, Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets
? 2 plus years experience with SQL
? Expert interpersonal skills.

DESIRED:
? Experience in application servers such as JBoss/JRun/WebSphere
? 3 to 4 years of development experience using UNIX or LINUX.
? 2 plus years in-depth experience with ColdFusion and Dreamweaver
? 2 plus years with ASP / JSP technology
? 2+ years experience with source management tools.
? 1+ years experience with Java
