Sr. Programmer Analyst

Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst
Location: Portland, OR
Length: 6+ month contract-to-hire
Salary: 64.5K + benefits

Task/Qualifications:


Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Handheld Application development team requires a highly motivated individual with strong programming skills. Will be involved in the design and development of Handheld software applications to support the business. Responsible for all parts of the application design and development including user interfaces, database design, database connectivity and middleware objects. Will be required to create detailed design specifications. Strong testing background including writing detailed test plans required.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Critical Skills: 6 Years experience programming with one or more of the following - C, C ++, Visual Basic. Embedded Visual C ++, Pro C. 2 Years Experience with .Net (Minimum). Knowledge of .Net compact framework preferred. 2 Years of Web application development experience including web services(Minimum). 4 Years of analysis and design experience (Minimum). Working knowledge of SQL server and Oracle. Working knowledge of Unix and Shell Scripting Experience with development on Handheld devices preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills, strong personal computer skills. Knowledge of information architecture and user interface design concepts.

Education:
BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is desirable.
