Sr. Programmer Analyst - Batch Developer

For more than 20 years, CMA Consulting Services has provided leaders in industry and government with consulting services and integrated solutions to meet their information technology demands. We have conducted thousands of technology oriented consulting engagements and developed hundreds of application system solutions for our customers, which have been primarily Fortune 500 companies, State, City of New York and Local government agencies. For these customers, CMA is currently providing technology based services in multiple areas including: Professional Consulting Services, Software Development, System Integration, Data Warehousing Solutions and Oracle/IBM Training Services.

CMA has an immediate need for a Senior Programmer/Analyst Batch Developer.

Mandatory requirements for this position include:3-5 years of experience in developing and coding batch programs and system interfaces Experience and knowledge in COBOL, ideally using MicroFocus COBOL or other COBOL experience in a client server environment A minimum of 3 years expertise in programming within a team environment in support of a large development project Application support/maintenance skills including troubleshooting and problem solving Good writing and verbal communication skills

Desired experience for this role include:Experience involving child welfare or other health and human services systems a big plus Oracle DBMS environment (SQL, PL/SQL)  RSAM Batch Architecture Unix or Kornshell (ksh) Scripting C, Java, Tuxedo, SQR, Java, BEA WebLogic, Apache a plus
