Sr. Project Manager / Application Development Project Leader

Knowledge, Skill Experience:

MS/MBA CS/IS/IT with 5-7 years experience

 

BS CS/IS/IT with 8-10 years experience

 

High end project management skills:  PMP certification, MS project

 

Rapid implementation experience is a must.

 

Large Project implementation experience is required.

 

3 years experience and demonstrated competence in Project Management leading multiple concurrent projects

 

IBM Mainframe:  COBOL, DB2, CICS  skills are desired

 

Regular Tasks:

Communicate with the other project managers on the team to get projects done

 

Many integrated parts to this project require an excellent ability to see the "big picture" of a complex large-scale technical environment and communicate this to other Project Managers.

 

Support the development and execution of all development and support strategies and plans.

 

Effectively manage the delivery of application enhancements and new builds.

 

Continuously improve the process, the team, and the quality of the deliverables.

Excellent communication, people skills, and follow-through

 

Strong business/system acumen to set/manage customer expectations and mitigate risks before developing into issues or confrontations
