Senior Project Manager?Dallas/Houston/Seattle

Primary Responsibilities:Working with clients and internal resources to schedule and manage the implementation of a new or upgraded automated management system. The selected candidate will learn and maintain knowledge of current AMS management solutions with a detailed knowledge of required setups and all preparations involved in transitioning from one management solution to another.  Collaborates with developers, quality assurance, production support, and account teams to provide direction on systems analysis, design, development, and deployment.  The successful candidate will have the ability to lead large project teams of 10 or more including high level executives, and senior technical staff.  The position requires a person to be able to analyze situations, identify root causes of problems and draw solid conclusions for resolution. The individual selected will apply their knowledge, skills and judgment to successfully guide customers and internal resources through a process making sure that all tasks are completed accurately on schedule.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree, MBA or masters level related business/technology field preferredCertified PMP or CAPM, or similar certification/training5-10 years of relevant experienceExcellent project management skills required with proven track record and abiity to manage projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Property/casualty Insurance agency knowledge is a plusUnderstands general business issues including external factors that impact the business and industry.Flexibility to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and handle stressful situations.Excellent organizational, analytical, written, presentation and verbal communication skills required.Team player who can work effectively with minimal supervision while following established processes and meeting quality standards.Ability to travel up to 25% of the timeProficient user of MS Project, MS Office and other industry standard desktop software tools.
