General Summary: The Enterprise Application team is a successful, highly motivated and fun team. As a leader of this team, you will utilize your project management expertise to manage projects from initiation through delivery. You will work with the business to understand and influence future business initiatives and priorities, driving improvements to help build the infrastructure to propel Autodesk's growth from $1.5 billion in annual revenue to $3 billion.

Other activities include detailed planning and budgeting, reporting project status to senior management, proactive recognition and resolution of issues across teams, and hands-on project guidance to ensure completion of assigned projects on schedule and within budget. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects of medium to large size and technical complexity. The areas of focus for this position may include SAP, Siebel and other infrastructure applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver projects on time and within budget Manage and track the progress of projects from requirements to design, development, testing, launch, migration to production, and retirement Provide independent view into progress in all areas Successfully manage project expectations and clarify roles and responsibilities when needed Assist team in pro-actively flagging issues and risks that may fall between two different projects, teams or functional areas Ensure a strong, team-oriented working relationship Act as the advocate for the Business. Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with IT. Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships. Ensure that the project roadmap continuously reflects business priorities, even as projects undergo change. Establish, improve, and champion the use of formal project management tools and techniques across in all assignments, in the areas of: a. Project and process plans b. Regular status reports and VP level reports c. Development and maintenance of accurate master schedules d. Creative and effective risk management, change management e. Management of issues and action items, tracking to timely resolution f. Ad hoc reporting tools that provide streamlined project visibility and predictability Work with executives and senior management across Autodesk to make Governance effective and efficient Bring the ability to maintain composure, enthusiasm, energy, and focus in a variety of circumstances.

Critical Competencies / Minimum Requirements: Strong influencing skills. Comfort with negotiating and driving timely decisions (rather than consensus) when required. Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment. Strong communications skills (written and verbal), and comfortable presentation and speaking skills. 7+ years of successful technical project management experience (with references)

Specific Technical Competencies / Desired: Masters degree and/or PMI, six sigma or CMMI certification Knowledge of the SAP and/or Siebel application; functional modules, integration points and technologies, reporting and related development and maintenance processes.
