Sr QA Analyst (MMP)Position Description

Provides enterprise quality assurance (QA) oversight of software development projects. Collaboratively participates in the development of QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and robot scripts. Conducts reviews of all QA artifacts and provides overall QA governance. This includes ensuring that QA artifacts have been developed in accordance with company standards and that they provide adequate test coverage of the software deliverables. Conducts user acceptance testing of software deliverables. Monitors, mentors and reviews the work of outside consultants and vendors as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide enterprise quality assurance (QA) oversight of software development projects and on/offshore contractors
2. Collaboratively participate in the development of QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and robot scripts
3.Conducts reviews of all QA artifacts and provide overall QA governance
4. Conducts user acceptance testing of QA artifacts and software deliverables
5. Ensure software deliverables are of high quality and in conformance with industry and project standards

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Business Experience
8+ years experience in software and/or program testing
Detailed knowledge of QA methodologies, testing and evaluating performance of programs/applications/software

Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Must possess proven experience and a thorough working knowledge of enterprise scale, QA methodologies for commercial, multi-tier, web based software products
Experience monitoring, mentoring and reviewing the work of outside consultants and vendors and working collaboratively to develop QA artifacts
Ability to translate requirements provided in technical specifications to QA test plans and scripts
Excellent organizational and workflow skills; ability to work on simultaneous projects with diverse working groups
Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. This may involve adapting personal schedule and working extra hours and weekends as necessary.
Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate conceptual and technical architecture design both orally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in QA testing tools such as Mercury Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Win Runner and Load Runner, knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
