Sr. QA Analyst/QA Lead

This Sr. QA Analyst will report to the Retained Applications Manager of the Operations and be responsible for coordinating the quality assurance and testing of a portfolio of applications dealing with reports and files storage & retrieval.

* Plans and coordinates all test activities, planning and execution.
* Prepares required methodology testing artifacts such as Master Plan for the project, and manages or prepares test plans for each of the applications in the portfolio.
* Ensures adherence to software life-cycle methodology, especially for quality assurance activities.
* Coordinates with other QA teams to plan and execute testing of the entire project.
* Measure, monitor and report on project testing progress to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets or exceeds expectations.
* Maintain effective communication with team members and with other teams.
* Ensure knowledge transfer is emphasized throughout project teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Specific Skills Required (Functional/Technical/Other):

* Work history of working with multiple simultaneous projects and/or test teams
* Experience with testing tools Mercury preferred
* Experience with writing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts
* Quality Controls
* Brokerage Industry knowledge desirable
* Ability to plan and execute equally well independently or within a team
* Communication skills with team members, other teams.
* Facilitation skills
* Presentation skills
* Risk Assessment skills
* Conflicts and issues resolution and escalation
* Experience with mainframe and distributed technologies
