Duties and Responsibilities:



 

?  Possesses full project life cycle experience

?  Plans project schedules for medium to small sized projects and makes project assignments recommendations

?  Creates and executes test strategies for major initiatives

?  Writes and reviews test plans for completeness; executes test plans

?  Participates in formal reviews of application designs, business and functional requirements

?  Maintains status of projects.  Communicates status and escalates issues.

?  Provides technical guidance and leadership to small groups

?  Serves as a mentor to other team members

?  Provides technical supervision on moderate multiple projects

?  Participates in the develops departmental technical policies and procedures

?  Recommends strategies and methods to improve test plans and test process.

?  Participates  in the defining of Quality Process Improvements focused on defect prevention

?  Takes a lead role in many team work initiatives for systems and external groups.  Works with implementation teams with supervision

?  Has solid specific business background through training



Experience:

 

2+ years QA experience in a software development environment. 

Knowledge of QA methodologies and process.

Experience with automated tools and scripting desirable.

Rational Robot, Rational Test Manager/ClearQuest, Unix, Sybase, VB, Powerbuilder, Java, C++, Cobol, JCL
