Sr. QA Manager

We're looking for a full-time Employee hire that has Managed QA organizations with team sizes exceeding 40 members
Someone who can drive Quality through the entire launch process and will also be the main escalation point for QA issues onsite and offshore
Experienced with managing onsite and offshore resources
A strong planner including resourcing and estimation of work
Review of plans, test cases, schedules and testing strategies to validate requirements and meet customer commitments
Superior organizational skills and packaging of information for clear presentation to clients and other internal staff
Responsive individual, on time delivery on all tasks and commitments
Technical individual who does not mind getting a little hands-on when needed
This role entails extensive customer interactions through all stages of the test lifecycle, so having great interface capabilities and communication skills are a must
Responsible for application and implementation of QA processes and methodology for the entire QA department
Will work closely with the development managers to ensure high quality deliverables
Participate in technical architecture discussions and design reviews.
Exhibit a superior understanding and ability to apply proven QA techniques and methods.
Review and guide QA engineers to ensure methodologies and quality practices are followed
Use metrics and measurements to evaluate deliverables and develop strategies to continually improve productivity, time to market and quality.
Perform data analysis, prepare test briefings, and write test reports.
Travel on the job is required up to 30%

 

 

Skills Required:

 

Test Tools:  Mercury Quality Center
Test Techniques - Functional Testing, Black Box testing, Integration / E2E testing/ Supporting UAT/ Pilots  MS-Project  etc

Indepth knowledge of SDLC and various types of development metholodologies 

Ability to write detailed Test Strategies
