Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company? (FILI) develops, markets and distributes its own insurance products, as well as those of other high quality insurers. The FILI Systems & Technology Group is responsible for all business related technology that supports our insurance company. S&T leverages the Fidelity corporate technology infrastructure provided by Fidelity's Central IT and Web Development organizations (FISC and FeB), and is responsible for providing insurance-specific solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers, either through vendors or by developing in-house applications.

 

As a member of the FILI Quality Assurance team, you will work with other QA Engineers, Developers and  Project Managers to design, develop and execute test plans to ensure new applications and enhancements to existing applications satisfy business requirements and meet high quality standards.

 

This new QA position will specifically support the QA testing for the conversion and implementation of our new FILI annuity administration platform project with the following responsibilities:Develop test plans, test conditions and test cases to test system enhancements and improvementsDevelop and executes automated and/or manual tests using standard QA toolsExecute test plans according to published timelines insuring the quality and timely delivery.  Works directly with developers and business partners in the review of business requirementsResearch and resolve system related issues, maintain metrics, report status and signoff.

Strong business experience and insurance product knowledge of  all Life and Annuity products Experience with Quality Assurance testing practices using automated testing tools  Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with business partners, actuary and systems personnel Experience with testing WEB and/or distributed application systemsExperience with large scale system conversions and end-to-end testing responsibilities.Strong verbal, written communications and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workload associated with multiple, concurrent projects.Experience with MSOffice suite of tools: Word, Excel, Access are a plus. FLMI and/or similar insurance credentials are a must.
