Senior Requirements Management Engineer needed for Requirements Traceability Project in San Jose. The key area of expertise is a thorough understanding of the Requirements Traceability process as implemented throughout the SW and HW development lifecyles. Another required area of expertise is comprehensive knowledge of a commercially available Requirements Management / Requirements Traceability Tool such as IBM/Rational Requisite Pro or Telelogic's DOORS.

We need someone who understands Requirements Traceability (this is a key requirement of the Quest Forum's TL 9000 Requirements) and is an experienced user of the Requisite Pro tool (PC/Windows based application), wihc is preferred, or the DOORS tool. You will be responsible for driving and guiding the requirements management process and interacting with teams not currently using the ReqPro tool. Your charter would be to help deploy an automated Requirements Traceability solution to a development team (including product management, software and/or hardware development and feature/system test) which has not previously incorporated Requirements Traceability in their process. You will need a solid understanding of the automated methodology and value that the ReqPro tools can bring in order to help guide teams towards an automated process.

Additional skills:
*Must have exceptional communication skills as you will be working with multiple groups, departments & managers
*Highly desirable to have experience in creating complex SoDA scripts.
*In depth understanding of the Rational Unified Process Suite
