Sr. SAP R/3 Security Engineer

Amkor Technology is currently looking for a Sr. SAP R/3 Security Engineer for our Chandler, AZ location. The primary function of this position is SAP R3 security management. This position will design, build and assure implementation of a re-engineered SAP security model. Models include FI, CO, MM, SD, PP. In addition, this position will work with functional teams to gather requirements and integrate with security needs.

 

 

Major responsibilities of this position include:

 Provide world class internal and external customer supportPremise work under standardization and best practices guidelinesDesign, develop, implement and test Enterprise disaster recovery proceduresFollow, establish, and devise security process/controlsAdhere to, author, edit and review documentation ? policies/procedures/Change ManagementMulti-task and coordinate/negotiate time, people, vendors, hardware and application availabilityMonitor/Identify Enterprise performance indicators & gather metrics to ensure SLA complianceTroubleshoot, diagnose, recommend and implement solutionsDevelop new methods and processes contributing to automationConduct miscellaneous audits and inventoriesComplete independent projects inline with strategic business objectives as approvedPerform day-to-day SAP systems administration functionsTrain and mentor with peers and associatesOn-call support rotation, weekend and split shift support is requiredComplete other duties as delegatedSAP Software support/securitySAP Database AdministrationSystem Monitoring and Event ManagementPerformance monitoring and tuning of SAP instancesThird party software installation and supportDevelop, implement and test disaster recovery strategiesDocumentationNew ProjectsCustomer Support and TroubleshootingSAP R3 Security Engineering and Strategic Planning

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

This position requires an Associates degree in a computer related field and 4 years of related experience. The qualified candidate will have exceptional written/verbal communications and customer service skills. Candidate must demonstrate SR-LEVEL competence with above duties in a SAP R/3 4.7 environment with specific focus upon the following areas of expertise:

In addition experience with Basis, Unix/Solaris 8+, Oracle Database 9+, compliance softwares such as Virsa, PCI, or Approva and experience with EAI (Enterprise Architecture Interface), ALE, EDI, IDOC are desired.

 

This position requires 5% domestic and 25% international travel.
