Sr. Security Analyst

Sr. Security Analyst CGI Federal will provide review and inspection services to support efforts to confirm FISMA compliance as reported by information security officers (ISOs) at client facilities and properly document any additional vulnerabilities found in the environment at approximately 100 facilities.

Senior analyst will be expected to work with minimal supervision, be a team lead, and accept greater responsibility for the completion of assignments commensurate with their level of experience.

The successful candidate will have two to three years of Information Assurance (IA) experience and includes all manner of certification and accreditation support such as developing security and contingency plans, and conducting risk and vulnerability assessments. Analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps. Conduct security program audits and develop solutions to lessen the identified risks. Develop strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements. Provide IA support for the development and implementations of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.

In addition, the successful candidate will also have project lead experience and be proficient with Microsoft Project.

Essential Skills:
Working knowledge of these National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications 800 series (listed in priority): 800-27 (C&A Process); 800-18 (System Security Plans); 800-30 (Risk Assessment); 800-53 (Security Requirements); 800-63 (E-Authentication) and Federal Processing Standards (FIPS), especially 199 (Security Categorization).

Working knowledge of Dept of Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP).

Working knowledge of NSA Information Assurance Process.
