Aegis Associates is looking for a highly motivated, customer centric Sr. Security Consultant.  This position markets and delivers security-consulting services and assists in the design, development and implementation of Network security assessments.

ResponsibilitiesTo consult with our clients analyzing their business and technical security requirementsResponsible for security designs and implementing solutions that exceed clients expectationsExecute on security consulting projectsImplement network and security technologies and solutions based on designsTest security technologies and solutionsDocument security solutions to meet client requirementsSupport security sales initiativesPersonal development/training/education

 

Requirements7+ years of deep technical security experience e.g. Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Authentication, Assessment, and Forensics.Thorough knowledge of current security standards and best practices e.g. ISO1-7799, COBIT2-3 years consulting experience - interfacing with and servicing clients, managing and budgeting time and expenses, leading and working in project-oriented environments with deadlines and milestones, making presentations to executive management, etc.Must have working knowledge of the security aspects and hardening techniques of different operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Novell Netware, UNIX and Cisco IOS.Must have working knowledge of one or more current firewall technologies including Checkpoint, Cisco ASA/PIX, Sonicwall, Juniper/Netscreen, Fortinet, and/or Watchguard.Knowledge of current IDS/IPS technologies such as Cisco IDS and similar systems are a plus. CISSP or CSSP certification required.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrentlyDemonstrated ability to consistently exceed client expectationsMust be willing to travel to client sites covering the New England area
