Sr. Software Developers-Search Engine/ C++ /UNIX/LINUX-Multiple Openings

Law products team of this top-tier Financial Services company
is looking to fill multiple Senior Software Developer positions with individuals possessing very strong technical skills in: C++ ; object oriented design; UNIX or Linux; RDBMS development;, and XML technologies. A candidate with strong skills in Java or C# is acceptable, but at least intermediate-level C++ experience is required. Experience developing software for UNIX or Linux is also preferred.

The team is working on developing software for acquisition, analysis, processing, indexing, and searching of a diverse base of legal information sources.

Responsibilities will include: the design, development, and support of legal information applications; managing small to medium sized projects; and working with business experts.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Strong Object Oriented (OO) design and development skills with C++ on Unix /
Linux;

OR in Java or C#, with background in C++ on Unix / Linux (At least intermediate-level programming proficiency in C++ is required)
* RDBMS development


PLUSES:
* Experience with different XML technologies (XPath, XSLT, XML parsers, etc.)
* Expert-level C++ programming, including hands-on experience with STL and threading
* Additional skill in Java or C#
* Strong skills with RDBMS programming and integration, especially Oracle
* Search engine or legal data services development experience
* Project management or tech lead experience
