Sr. Software Engineer - JAVA
Description
This individual will be a key developer in and / or leading a team of software engineers designing and developing distributed financial payment systems.
Education and Typical Years of Experience This position requires at least 5 years design and development experience for mission critical database driven multi-tier applications along with a demonstrated ability to deliver end user products on time. Educational requirements include minimum a BS and preferable MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Special Requirements Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years software design and development using Java (JS2EE, JDBC) on a UNIX, Linux or Win32 platform. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Demonstrated object oriented analysis and design (OOAD) along with creative problem solving skills. A solid working knowledge using SQL on Oracle, or MS SQL Server. Desired Skills: Network programming, security programming, multi-threaded programming, XML, Web Service, UML, Unix, JUnit, and able to lead a small team of 3-5 software engineers. Other Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, good customer interaction skills are desired.
