Sr. Software Test Engineer

 

LOCATION: GILBERT, AZ

 

Do you want to be involved with the entire software development life cycle? We're looking for a motivated Senior Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer. This is an opportunity for a talented engineer to join as a member of the Hosting Quality Assurance Team.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

? Principal test engineer assigned to software development projects utilizing both open source and .Net development platforms.
? Specifically, provide all functional and technical testing of software programs and systems.
? Construct and utilize test plans to effectively test changes (including regression testing and coordination of interfaces) and analyze results as compared to business requirements.
? Design and develop automated test scripts for functional and regression testing, including development of test clients for verification of middleware components and web services.
? Design and build automated tools for verification of large-scale projects.
? Monitor testing progress and problem resolution/prioritization.
? Facilitate communication between business and technical staff to ensure effective and efficient implementation.

 

Skills/Requirements:

? Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
? Four years software test and/or software development experience
? Demonstrated test automation or programming skills (Java, PHP, CGI, Perl)
? Good understanding of Web Server Technologies (Apache, IIS)
? Strong Experience with Linux Systems
? Experience with relational databases and SQL development
? Excellent communication and people skills are a must.
? Excellent technical documentation skills required

Preferred:

? Familiarity with web application development technologies
? Experience with both .Net and open source development platforms
