Sr. Sybase Developer

Our client a major bank, is looking for a Consultant who will function as a Senior Sybase Database Developer. This individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience within a financial services firm. Successfully demonstrates an ability to code, test, develop, modify, implement and/or enhance an application using skill set as listed below. Delivers timely and quality services that meet or exceed team manager's and client expectations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently within various technology areas of the Bank. A solid history of application development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting is required.

The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management; Must take initiative; Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.

Skills required :
- 5+ years experience with Sybase development.
- 5 years experience with Perl and Unix shell scripting.
