JOB SUMMARY:


This Systems Engineer position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of server security software products, configuration of new products, and adherence to security standards, processes and procedures.  The associate is responsible for the change controls, administration and equipment maintenance of all server security processes in the HNI enterprise.  The associate responds to clients and administers departmental security policies as well as the Corporate Security documentation standards. They develop and document server security processes.  The associate will administer all procedures and enforce compliance of security standards and policies on Wintel Servers.  Responsible for communication of system changes with designated HNFS IS staff to ensure on-going DITSCAP compliance. 

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Four-year degree in Information Systems or related field, or a combination of academic education, professional training and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Microsoft MCSE or MCSD, current CISSP or GIAC certification desired Must have ability to pass the DITSCAP ADP1 National Agency check. Minimum 4 years experience LAN Administration supporting Windows platforms.   Two or more years experience in Windows server security architecture, analysis, and vulnerability assessments. At least four years experience in implementation and support of Windows Servers or Novell Servers in a large environment.  Must be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and posses excellent verbal communication skill with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Effective organizational, written and oral skills required to clearly communicate technical proposals to all levels of the organization including senior management. An in-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols in a distributed LAN/WAN environment. Comprehensive knowledge of operating system problem determination and resolution.  Ability to clearly define a problem and a course of action to resolve technical issues. 




REQUIREMENTS:


Education:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

 

SkillsA minimum of four years experience in implementation and support of a Windows Server in a large environment.Two or more years experience in Windows security architecture, analysis, and vulnerability assessments.Two years experience in Active Directory GPO management.Comprehensive knowledge of operating system determination and resolution.
