Sr. TechExcel Configuration Specialist

Resulting from a recent expansion in First American's TechExcel application user base, the Corporate Information Technology Group is looking for a senior-level application configuration specialist to successfully configure and troubleshoot the TechExcel CRM / helpdesk application, resolve user issues and ensure the highest level of user satisfaction. The Sr. TechExcel Configuration Specialist works with IT management and project managers involved in application and report process design, as well as providing configuration and support to TechExcel application and report users. Specific tasks and duties include:

Configure, program, administer and troubleshoot the TechExcel CRM application.

Database programming and analysis in an MS SQL Server environment to support the application.

Report writing with MS Reporting Services, Crystal Reports or similar reporting tool.

Analyze and program SQL statements and DTS packages to support application and reports.

Assist users, project managers and support resources with application and report issues/requests.

Participate in ensuring project team goals.

Qualifications

MUST have an Associates Degree in a relevant discipline, related professional training and/or Bachelors Degree preferred.


MUST have 7 years of stable, progressive experience configuring and administering a large-scale Windows based, user-facing application, including database programming in MS SQL Server to support application, report design, and report writing, preferably in a corporate enterprise IT environment.


MUST have helpdesk or related CRM application experience.


MUST be proficient in MS SQL Server database programming and report writing with a major reporting tool; MS Report Services or Crystal Reports preferred.


MUST demonstrate successful experience working directly with application users and solving problems.


MUST be experienced participating in project teams.


MUST have exceptional customer service skills and attitude.
