Maintain Server operating system software such as: Solaris, UNIX, and Windows. Manage user accounts for server access, manage print services and IPs for printers where applicable, manage enterprise virus scanning software and updates as applicable, Interface with higher authority for approval of user accounts and network access, Create and manage user directories on the servers, monitor server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance. Perform server configuration management and documentation, perform backups of servers, and monitor tape backup routine to ensure proper sequence is being followed, verify date on tape backup is valid, and perform tape restorations. Research software upgrades to servers, research new technologies, and document system administration procedures and instructions.

Requires Bachelor's degree/ seven years experience.

Requires minimum 7 years experience.
