Spectra Laboratories, a leader in the Dialysis industry providing laboratory services for more that 1500 clinics in North America, is seeking a Supervisor, Network Administration for our Rockleigh, NJ facility to supervise and manage the company's LAN, servers, UNIX/Linux systems and PCs.

Job Responsibilities: Individual will supervise a group of 5-6 in a 24/7 shop including LAN/PC Specialists, Field Application Technicians and UNIX systems administrator(s). Will provide hands on support for Servers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, phone system, Linux and UNIX systems as needed.

Job Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or related field, with 5-8 years network administration experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role. Requires a minimum of 3 years hands-on UNIX and/or Linux systems administration. Must have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco router and Catalyst switch products, firewall & VPN administration/monitoring, and cabling methodology. Excellent communication, customer service, and team building skills are required. Current MCSE, CCNA, and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer credentials are preferred. Consideration may be given to individuals with equivalent experience and demonstrated technical competence. Candidates must be able to pull cables, move hardware, etc. Schedule flexibility to accommodate changing deadlines and priorities, as well as be on call for after hours and weekend support, is a must via phone, dial-in or on-site as required.
