Support Analyst - Lawson

Nemours, in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an experienced Support Analyst with Lawson experience.

This individual will provide advanced systems analysis, informatics and consulting services and support for organizational departments throughout the Enterprise.  Will also participates in building, testing and converting the application database. 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
1.  Conducting current and future analyses with business units and other departments as deemed necessary for project success.
2.  Making recommendations for implementation of specific applications based on current and future analyses, work processes, plans and available products.
3.  Participating in the development, continuous revision, and communication of project plans to the appropriate project manager.
4.  Implementing product design decisions, modifies application databases to meet unique requirements of clinical departments.
5.  Participating in the development of policies and procedures for clinical software implementation and trouble-shooting specific aspects of the system.
6.  Building and maintaining application database and documents changes made.
7.  Testing and validating system functionality and database integrity.
8.  Working with departments and other organization resources to develop site-specific testing, training and conversion plans.
9.  Participating in the coordination of project activities with clinical departments and IS vendor resources.
10. Assisting with planning, development and coordination of user training.
11. Assisting with and supports end-user training.
12. Participating in ongoing application support.
13. Participating in the development and implementation of an appropriate change management process.
14. Assisting in the identification of stakeholders and supports needs of stakeholders to maximize system acceptance.
15. Identifiying barriers to project success and communicates effectively to appropriate team members.
16. Actively participating in attainment of identified professional goals.
17. Assisting in the development of team goals, and actively supports them.
18. Protecting patient confidentiality.
19. Assuming lead analyst role as designated by project manager:  a) assists project manager in the coordination of project plan activities for designated go live; b) identifies staffing needs for support during go live and immediate post go live activities, and communicates them to project manager; c) facilitates communication between all components of the project team regarding daily status and issues.; d) assists with preparation of  go live sign off documents and process; e) attends meetings with project managers and stakeholders as appropriate.
20. After hours on-call support as needed. 
MARGINAL RESPONSIBIILITES include:
1.  Consulting with personnel in other information systems sections to coordinate activities and projects.
2.  Preparing activity and progress reports regarding the efforts of  systems implementation.
3.  Attending meetings as required and participates on committees as requested.
4.  Other projects and duties as assigned by e-manager or project manager.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS include:

1.   Minimum two years' experience with Health Care Information Systems.
2.  Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Healthcare concentration preferred; Associates required.
3.  Two years' experience with the application within area of responsibility, specifically Lawson HR and Payroll or Financials preferred.
