The System Engineer - IP Domains is responsible for the installation and on-going management of the host systems and workgroup servers utilized to support the code development efforts of Cerner Corporation's Millennium Engineering Organization. The System Engineer - IP Domains is responsible for all system administration functions of the host systems and workgroups including: new software domain installation, operating system installs and patch upgrades, system performance and disk space management.  This position requires working a 5-5-4 shift schedule (7 p.m.-7 a.m.).

Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci, Engineering, Business Administration with emphasis in information systems, or a related field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, physics) with 2 years related experience Or, Master's degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci, Engineering, Business Administration with emphasis in information systems, or related field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, physics with one year related experience managing Compaq OpenVMS Willing to work a 5-5-4 shift schedule (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)Ability to accept on-call pager requests
