Reporting to the Plant Controller, the incumbent provides specialized skills in the areas of Server and PC related Hardware & Software Administration, Configuration, Installation, Maintenance, and User Support. Employee must also administer Intellution, WMS, Maximo, GageTalker, E-Time and other standard operations and QA control systems. In addition, person is responsible for Network and Telephone Infrastructures, Database Administration and Management, and Web Site administration. Assist the Technical Services department in planning and executing plant floor changes and projects. Assist maintenance with the troubleshooting of PLC, controls and specialized printing equipment issues on the plant floor.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Installation, Configuration, Support, and Maintenance all PCs, Printers, Plotters, and Desktop Applications and Operating Systems as well as support for associated user base. Includes Configuring New PCs, deployment, and all upgrades related to the above. This person is also responsible for all backup and disaster recovery for all servers and PCs.
2. Manages and Administers Major Business Critical Applications such as: WMS (both onsite and at remote sites), GageTalker (VSPC), Intellution and Maximo.
3. Responsible for all Database Administration, Data integrity, Backups, and Security using Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL and Sharepoint.
4. Installs and Supports Network Infrastructure Hardware and Cabling including Ethernet and Fiber Optics and related Network Switches, including the RF Networks (WMS, Wireless Ethernet, ShockWatch, and Sprint Phones).
5. Responsible for all Telephone systems including PBX administration, Call Accounting, Video conferencing, Voice conferencing, ISDN Prime T1(s) and Wide Area network Sprint T1 data lines.
6. Responsible for all video and electronic displays throughout the facilities and the switching and control equipment needed to operate them.
Minimum Requirements:
BS in appropriate Information Technology or Electrical Engineering discipline
3 years of Project Management experience
5 or more years experience in IT
SQL Database administration experience
Good communications skills, written and verbal with strong ability to influence and provide leadership to all levels of the organization.
