Systems Administrator

Summary:


This position is responsible for performing system administration tasks including installation of server operating systems, patch management, performance tuning and monitoring.


Qualifications:


1. Associates degree with an emphasis in IT.


2. 5 years experience doing hands on system administration in a large, diverse production environment.

Knowledge of server hardware, including troubleshooting skills.


3. SAN technology knowledge is a plus.


4. Must have working experience administering Windows 2000-based server environment.


5. Active Directory knowledge and MS-SQL administration experience is a plus, as well as knowledge of Novell OS.


6. Knowledge TCP/IP and networking a plus.


7. Experience with system/data backup procedures and best practices desired, as well as experience with Disaster Recovery and system documentation.
