Systems Administrator /Manager
Local Candidates ONLY !!
The Senior Systems Administrator will have an in depth background in technical support, networking, and systems integraton. This includes Servers, PC's, Networking cabling components, Hubs, Routers, Switches, as well as TCP/IP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Establish plans and implement system policies and procedures
-Deploy, maintain, support, and upgrade servers, desktop PC's, and hardware
-Support custom internal software operating systems and distributed printers
-Create and upkeep network documentation
-Proactively check for potential system failures/problems
-Perform system backups on all PC based software applications, communication systems, and servers
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Systems Administrator role
3 years supervisory experience
-Advanced knowledge of Windows NT 4 and 2000 Environment including components such as DHCP, WINS, IIS, and DNS
-Proven knowledge of NT/2000 Domain Architecture, Active Directory, NT/200 operation systems installation, troubleshooting and performance monitoring and tuning
-Knowledgeable in MS Access, MS SQL, and similar database programs
-Exchange 2000
-Ethernet Networking - TCP/IP
-LAN/WAN management
-Bachelor's Degree, or 3-5 years related experience
-MCSE and other networking related certifications desired
