Systems Analyst/ Dotcom

We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst for our E-Commerce business. Toys R Us is the largest internet toy retailer in the world. You will be responsible for designing and developing state of the art Fullfillment/ E Commerce Applications.

Successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 

 

Must be able to develop detailed requirements specifications, systems documentation, use cases and workflow procedures.

- An understanding of data modeling, process flow, user interface, application interface, data processing, reporting and application and system integration is required.

- Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.

- Must have strong multi-tasking skills

- Must understand relational database structures and use query tools

- Experience with the full software development life cycle is required.

- Monitor the flow of data between systems to ensure the integrity of information and to identify any inconsistencies.

- Research and escalate any unexplained discrepancies.

- Assist in the analysis, design, and testing of system modifications or enhancements.

- Serve as a liaison for any related integration related issues with the business users.

- E-commerce experience (e-commerce life cycle) a plus

- Retail knowledge a plus.

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 4+ years related experience in business, application program development, business requirements gathering and testing.

Can readily distinguish between wants vs. needs and determine core functionality requirements.
