Location: Lakeland, FL

Salary: $58,000-$80,500

Type: Perm



Responsibilities:

- Assisting Corporate Purchasing with business level pricing initiatives and the functional and conceptual use of the FLEX Pricing application

- Being the end to end, business and application level analyst for the pricing process

- Coordinating the efforts of I/S and business area staff toward a common goal

- Assisting with supporting systems developed using ASP, VB, SQL Server, and other related technologies

- Assisting with the designing, coding, debugging, documenting, and maintaining of complex programs

- Planning and coordinating Change Management and Release Management functions during project development

- Instructing, directing, and checking the work of developers and other support associates



Required Qualifications:

- BA or BS in analytical discipline or equivalent experience will be considered

- Minimum of five years of application analysis, design, coding, and support experience

- Experience developing multi-tiered Web applications

- Experience with ASP, VB and COM+

- Experience with SQL Server programming including T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, and Index Optimization; knowledge of other relational database tools considered

- Experience programming using Object Oriented methodologies

- Must be able to work with minimal supervision within a structured environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity

- Must have an excellent attendance and punctuality record

- Good human relation skills

- Must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work



Preferred Qualifications:

- Seven years of design, coding and support experience

- Knowledge of retail business and applications

- Demonstrated experience working with competitive pricing concepts in a retail environment

- Ability to instruct, direct and check work of programmers, as well as business customers

- Experience leading complex projects or maintenance efforts

- Knowledge of Microsoft Solutions Framework or similar Development Framework/Life Cycle

- Ability to assess business issues and apply effective business judgment

- Experience and knowledge of Problem Management, Change Management and other I/S Services' processes
