Systems Analyst - SOX - Audits and Complaince

The position is located in Northbrook, IL.

 

The purpose of the department is Information Technology and reporting and support for the Allstate Financial Company.

 

The scope of this position will be responsible for ensuring the information technology functions of the Allstate Financial are in compliance with policies, standards and procedures that are based on relevant regulations and guidelines in order to help facilitate lowering total costs, enhancing ease of doing business, partnering with Operations to enable business solutions, helping to develop and retain our talent, and assist in developing standardized IT best practices.

The individual will be responsible for:

1.  Support and facilitate IT audits, as required. 
2.  Maintain current on all regulatory issues and act accordingly. 
3.  Analyze new regulations and develop action plans identifying key findings and recommendations.
4.  Develop and implement IT policies and / or controls. 
5.  Educate IT on new regulations and impacts on the Allstate Financial Technology environment.
6.  Develop annual IT compliance action plan, based on Compliance Framework in place. 
7.  Build relationships with the internal/external auditors, and vendors.
8.  Perform checks on the IT environment and related controls, policies, and procedures to ensure that compliance with regulations are maintained. 9.  Collect compliance information and maintain compliance databases.
10.  Compile periodic reports, geared to various levels of management, detailing compliance metrics, issues, and projects.

Experience Required:
Six  years of Software development and/or maintenance experience, including at least 2 years of Project Management / Team Leadership experience.  CISA, CISM, CIA, CPA helpful, especially if more than one.

Computer Proficiency:
Microsoft Office and Outlook

Education:
College Degree  - Preferred
Major preference: Business or Computer Science
