As a Systems Analyst in our organization, you will be faced with the objective of supporting a diverse base of software users by understanding their needs, documenting those needs into business requirements, and translating business to technical requirements.
A Systems Analyst with previous 3rd party application integration projects under their belt will be well suited for this role. A successful analyst in this department will thrive in a production support and application integration project environment.
Objectives for this position:
? You will utilize your strong technical analysis skills to create business solutions via technical solutions for your extensive user base.
? Your ability to troubleshoot source code, write ad-hoc SQL Queries and analyze databases will be a key to your success.
? As a Systems Analyst, you will utilize your past experience in gathering requirements, following standard SDLC methods for consistent development, project management and application development.
? The Systems Analyst will be part of an exciting project pipeline to include several CRM package rollouts, integration of document management systems with current ERP systems as well as implementation of Risk Management systems.
? Attend training sessions to learn new CRM, ERP, Document Management systems.
? Other exciting objectives in this position include the task of identifying
Process improvement opportunities, change management, and implementing new processes that streamline operations for success.
Daily Duties include:
? Organize assignments and priorities to ensure that project deadlines are met and customer expectations are exceeded
? Discover and document business and technical requirements to improve new or existing computer systems
? Support day-to-day production activities in a complex technical environment utilizing multiple technologies, including MS SQL Server database, .net applications, and third-party applications.
? Work with users and developers to identify areas for process improvement and diagnose application defects
? Write ad-hoc SQL queries to diagnose the root cause of system problems, and initiate code changes across a large suite of custom and packaged software applications
Requisite skills needed to be successful:
* BS in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field
* Must be proficient at writing professional business requirements
* Proficiency in MS Office suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, SQL Server Query Analyzer and SQL Server Enterprise Manager
* Experienced with the implementation of 3rd party customized software packages is a major plus
