Alphanumeric Systems, Inc. has the following contract opening with our direct client in Raleigh, NC.
Est. duration 3 months with extensions as needed
Location can be RTP, NC or Philadelphia area

* Tests a complete system or unit on new or revised programs to determine if all data is properly processed.
* Specific tasks are 1) development of formal design specifications, installation and operations documents for a validated LDAP directory based on SunOne/iPlanet Directory Serviced 5.2. 2) development of perl scripts for data feeds to and from this directory 3) Transitional support of the directory into full production.
* Overall design of the directory is not required as this has already been done.

Experience and Skills:
* Experience installing, configuring and operating SunOne/iPlanet Directory Services is essential.
* Experience working in a validated environment is required.
* Experience with LDAP is required
* Experience with Perl scripts required
* Experience in software testing with the ability to follow written procedures.
* Must be detail oriented to identify discrepancies between actual and expected results.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
